BIC Codes

BIC Code: BIC (Bank Identifier Code) codes are required by financial institutions to access the registration site for Sibos 2008.
Each financial institution has a specific BIC code which can be obtained from the BIC Directory page on our website www.swift.com. Please click on this link.

PIC Code: PIC (Partner Identifier Code) codes are required by SWIFT registered vendors (Solution, Business, Service and Network Partners) to access the
registration site for Sibos 2008. If you do not know your PIC code, please contact sibos@delegate.com.

Day Passes

Day Passes will be available online from 2nd June, 2008.

Please note that the Day Pass for Vienna 2008 will allow full access to the conference and exhibition at Sibos.
There is a maximum of two days per person.

Sibos exhibitors

• Exhibitors and Delegates are now known as 'Participants'
• A participant pass will give you access to the Sibos conference sessions and exhibition
• Technical passes are not included in your package however you will receive a communication in
  due course from the Sibos Exhibition Office to advise the process for 2008

Passports and visas:

Planning is essential

Advance planning on the part of travellers is essential to receive a visa in time for proposed travel dates to Austria. As a general planning guideline,
if a visa is needed, a foreign traveller should apply for his or her visa as soon as possible, but generally no later than 60 calendar days before the travel date.

SWIFT will not provide invitation letters as these are not decisive in determining an applicant's visa eligibility. Your final Sibos confirmation received
upon payment of your fees should be used as a supporting document when applying for a visa.

Who does not need a visa

Citizens of all countries of the European Union, Switzerland, Croatia, Israel, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, most of the countries of North and
South America, and some other countries do not need a visa, only a valid passport is required to enter Austria. In case of doubt please contact the Austrian
Consulate or Embassy before departure.

Who needs a visa

Travellers requiring a visa can travel freely throughout the Schengen zone for three months with a Schengen visa issued by any Schengen country.
Obtaining a visa entitling you to visit one Schengen country automatically entitles you to travel to and from all the other Schengen countries too.

Current member countries of the Schengen treaty are Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Luxemburg, the Netherlands,
Portugal, Spain and Sweden. Members of the Schengen treaty as of 2008: Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia.
